For the “5 Clip Shredders” on SouthWestBMX I wanted to create a more interesting and dynamic intro for the piece that will grasp more people attention. Since the beginning of the “5 clip Shredders” series I wanted to create an old TV that the introduction can be played on and now I have created it! I have also created the full intro on After Effects and will be uploading the first Shredders video featuring this new intro soon!
Here’s the teaser for the final edit of the Aficionados project! Who can’t wait for the release of the project? The lucky dip competition winner will also be released upon the release of the Final edit! Good luck to all those amazing riders who entered, and those that filmed them. We here at SouthWestBMX appreciate every entry!
Here’s the clip of the week this week and its from Charlie Ballett from Yeovil. Cheers for filming a clip man! Don’t forget to get asking any riders you know to get a clip in for the project as the more clips the better!
Due to so many people wanting to get involved who haven’t been able to get out and film with this poor weather, we have decided to extend the deadline! This means that if you’ve filmed a clip, but didn’t get a chance to send it into us, you now have a chance to send it in! We appreciate every clip that comes into us and will use and credit everyone who sends in an entry that we can! This means there is still time to get out and film a clip for you to win prizes from the lucky dip competition, and what a bunch of prizes they are! The winner will be announced upon the release of the final video and the prizes sent to them for them to take a picture of and get featured on the website.
So, whether you want all those prizes from SouthWestBMX, Crucial BMX shop and 34R, or you want recognition for that trick you’ve been working on all year, or you just want to be a part of the project and get featured in the video then get out to your local skatepark when its dry, or your local indoor park to film that clip. This project is open to absolutely anyone who rides. Whether you started only a couple months ago, or have been riding for years, get your clip into us.
Thanks so much for the entries we’ve received and we look forward to seeing all those clips that your going to be sending in.
Don’t hesitate to ask if you have any questions by contacting us through Facebook, Twitter, the website or by email us personally.
If, like a few people you do not have a camera to film your clip, get in contact with us and we’ll try and work something out where someone can film your clip.
